Can you all believe it is 2018 already?!?! Isn't that crazy?!?! Ok so I got my January Ipsy bag! Here's all the deets!

The theme this month is "Game Face". I love the bag! It's like a little jersey. I love the bright neon colors and the little shoestring zipper pull! Super cute!!! Now on to the products! I'm going to start us off with my favorite for this bag.

Cake Heavy Cream: This hand cream retails for $22. Their description: "made with aloe vera, coconut oil, shea butter, and green tea extract to soothe, smooth, and hydrate dry skin melts into skin instantly leaving it nourished & velvety smooth"

This hand cream is AMAZING!!! It smells like buttercream frosting, it is so soft and creamy and it doesn't leave any residue on your skin! A tiny bit goes a long way! I have extremely dry hands. Seriously, they are so dry they crack. I used Cake's heavy cream in the evening and my hands still felt awesome in the morning! Love, love, love this hand cream!

Pretty Woman Nail Polish Johnny's Angels: How awesome is it that they included a full size bottle of polish in this bag?? This polish retails for $7.99. The color is a bright neon teal/blue. All of their nail polishes are: 10-Free, Cruelty-Free, Paraben-Free, Sulfate-Free, Phthalates-Free, Petrochemical-Free, GMO-Free, Triclosan-Free, Vegan! 

I've seen 5-free but 10-free? That's pretty incredible. No worries when using their polish! It goes on smooth and dries fast! I did need about 3-4 coats to get good color coverage.

Vasanti Waterline Eyeliner Pencil: This is another full size product! It retails for $19.00. Their description: "Just apply Kajal Waterline Eyeliner to your upper and lower waterlines - and ta da! Full disclosure, I have not used this on my eyes yet. I have swatched it on my hand and it was very creamy and smooth and dried quick.

NYX Lip Lingerie in Satin Ribbon: Another full size product! This lip color retails for $7.00. Their description: "Slip into something seductive with Lip Lingerie, our luxurious liquid lipstick with a plush, Matte finish. Each sultry shade will coat the curves of your lips with irresistibly creamy color."

Unfortunately this gets a big NO from me. The product is very thick! Even after scraping some off the applicator it still went on way too thick. The "Satin Ribbon" color is a nude beige...it basically made my lips the same color as my face. Not flattering at all. Maybe a different color would work better for me but it's still thick and heavy.

Global Beauty Care Charcoal Wash-off Mask: This mask retails for $9.99. Their description: "Global Beauty Care Premium Charcoal Wash-Off Mask is infused with natural Charcoal which acts like a magnet to gently draw out deep dwelling dirt, oil and impurities from your clogged pores and lifts away dead skin cells without over-drying. I haven't used this mask yet but it has gotten some great reviews on influenster.com. Reviewers say that it feels luxurious, doesn't get dry and hard when on, and makes your face feel nice and soft.

What I think overall: I really liked this bag. The bag itself is really cute and they included 3 full size products! There was only one product that I will not use on the other hand I found a new hand cream that I am in love with!

Honest Review: Loreal's new Elvive Extraordinary Oil!

Loreal has an new line of products out! The line is called Elvive. It includes shampoos, conditioners, and products for damaged hair. Their claim is that "Elvive helps to revive all forms of hair damage. Whether it’s from heat styling, color processing or dryness, Elvive has powerful treatments formulated with superior technology." But is it true??? 

I was given Loreal's Extraordinary Oil free through Influenster.com in exchange for an honest review. I was very skeptical. I have combination hair. It is flat, dull and dry yet it gets super oily really quick. I never thought adding oil to my already oily hair was a good idea. Well I can't turn down a free product so I decided to give it a try.

Application is super easy. Shampoo your hair as you normally would, towel dry, squirt 2 drops of oil in your palm, rub them together, apply evenly through the length of your hair and the ends, blowdry and you're done. The bottle even has an awesome applicator top that only lets out 1 drop at a time so you don't have to worry about too much product coming out.

As you can see before my hair was flat kinda oily and just not pretty. After only one use my hair was EXTREMELY silky soft. Seriously, I could not stop running my hands through it. It was also nice and shiny and just looked a whole lot better than it usually looks. 

So yes I do think their claim is accurate. My hair did feel revived after only 1 use. It felt silky soft and not dry and brittle. I would definitely recommend this product. The best part is that it is only $6.99 and since you only use 2 drops per use the bottle is going to last you a long time!!!
